Oh! Then I had it backward. I assumed it reduced dimensions and did not compress, where it is the other way around.
Those numbers are excellent. That’s nearly 90% without losing quality.
You mean you are layering graphics by HTML, not software, right?
Almost looks like a (signed) painting—with sort of an English fairy tale quality. Very nice.
I play with them..skirt around problems with graphic too large for them to take ..Sometimes it works..gets them down enough to use the optimizer
I cut the dimensions to 640 at Imageshack. Very very large and it will balk at loading..
http://www.imageshack.us/
it has a place to scroll for desired dimensions ..That will somtimes cut the bytes down enough to put in the Optimizer and reduce bytes further..I am loading new copies into my computer and deleting old large byte copies all the time..I found tinypic links seem to work more often than others in the Optimizer sites.
Turn your computer upside down.
.
What I have done on large images is save two to my hard drive ..... one for printing (If I want to print it) and one for posting.
I think we can all learn together.
Thanks, Grannie for sharing your images with us and for working with them so they can be enjoyed by all.
I layer nothing..LOL I just snag some graphics that are layered..
It will take color out with each reduction in some “created” graphics”.
The 300,000 byte Optimizer will take some animations down to acceptable bytes..some it won’t.
Hi Nan. Great to see you this beautiful Monday.
MamaBear was telling me about Caty (Catherine) Ulen at the picnic on Saturday.
I’m looking forward to viewing your link and also seeing MamaBear’s vacation in WV pictures.
Hugs to you.
WOW! Good to "see" ya Louie. I've tried to keep Amy in line, but it seems to be a full-time job and I've been too busy with "stuff".
Hope you'll be around more. :)
I love it—well, not really, but I bet I could use it while driving if some SOB cuts me off.
I enjoy coming here! Are mine too big? I have NO idea! LOL!
Thank you for all your hard work!
(((hugs)))
.
We’re very happy you had such a relaxing vacation. LOL!
Cool! I love that graphics pairing!! Especially the steam coming frpm the coffee!
Just drop them off at TGIFridays.
Very beautiful scene!
SIL did some great driving and still holds onto 1st place in his Formula 4 division season point totals. One more race day on the 20th and the season will be over for his division.
I've been using ACDSee to optimize my pics before loading 'em up to Photobucket for hosting. Here's an example from Saturday's race - sil crossing the finish line - 2nd place in the second race of the day... car #23
