We're in a space colony with three enclosures rotating on a "Thrust Ring".
The three habitats have time zones separated by eight hours, but they're physically only minutes apart.
We grow our own food and oxygen, and spend our time like the characters in MST3000, making fun of everything on Earth, but not really having much of a life otherwise.
