But, there is now a problem.
To wit, there is an appliance in the basement buzzing - as if to indicate the completion of some previously underway industrial or energetic process that requires my inattention.
this “appliance” is a “dryer” - with contains mysterious blue-colored square and rectangular fabrics called “napkins” and “placemats” - used at the “family dinner” this weekend - where assorted great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, and small children (usually called “grandchildren” for some reason) were assembled for “dinner” .....
Anyway, the appliance formerly known as “the dryer” is emitting this buzzing sound.
Robt is curious: Should he
(a) attempt to locate the heat-emitting apparatus known as an “iron” to try to melt the “napkins” and “placemats” into regular squares?
(b) leave them in the “dryer” for future disposal by others-to-be-named-later?
(c) drop them off at the “dry cleaners” with sufficient cash so as to create the illusion of the magical “folding” process?
Unplug it. You can tell her you thought the alarm was going off.
Cook, God love ya’, let St. Ronnie handle the problem. She’ll be happier and you’ll be happier. Just unplug the dryer.
Take them from the dryer and put them in a receptacle (”basket”) for disposal by expert contractors. “Iron”?
“Basement”? Watch out for zombies and dust bunnies!
What do call ‘the appliance formerly known as the dryer ‘now? This information will help understand the present mindset toward the object and help direct proper action.
This ignoring the fact that it has been over 10 hours since the perplexing problem was pronounced.
The options:
(a) Work
(b) Delegate
(c) Contract out.
What would a good conservative do?
(a) is always a good choice for a conservative.
(b) is also among the choices for a conservative.
(c) is also among the choices well with in the practices of a conservative.
So we need another test.
Note: Given the time as noted earlier a conservative would have already made a choice.
What would congress do?
(a) Believes work is abstract and is a noun. Nothing happens.
(b) This is what subcommittees are for. Nothing happens.
(c) This might be a possible out come but would first be referred to (b)
There is no need to continue because a good conservative would have acted long before congress and already have the work done.
What did you do?
And what do you call the appliance in question?
