Oh, Yes, Please!

The winner gets into a $13000 tournament, a suite for the week, transportation, and spending money.

We’d have such fun!

Wait.
You ladies would have to work a bit.....I’d need a cheering squad at the game. :-D

Vegas needs EVERYBODY.

Tourism is down about 50% I hear. :-(

We can’t go for a few months, but we WILL GET THERE.

I can cheer. I can hint. I can even get UGLY if the need arises: “Look. Ms. Person. My friend here might be from out of town, but I’m not, so don’t give her any grief!”

Howzzat? :o])

(At 5’9”, timidity is not my strong suit...)

Vegas will never “suffer” the way other resort cities do. It’s The Place people associate with gambling. Atlantic City is OK, and so is Monte Carlo. But there is only ONE Vegas!

Tourism is not down all that much. The figures say that it is probably off about 13% since this time last year.

Some things have slowed, but whenever jobs close, others open, so the employment rate here is fairly static. It fluctuates about 7% +/- every year, which is not too bad.

Let me know when you plan to come to town!

We took a chance on marriage a couple of dozen years ago. Since then we've sworn off such risky behavior.

Wouldn't it, though? I, for one, would have the time of my life!!!

LOL!

It seems to me that just being married to you would constitute “risky behavior.” Still, NnSue should be commended for her bravery Above and Beyond...

*snort*

Hiya, Bob!

"Did you get any offers on Teen #2 yet?"

I'm holding off on putting her on the market just yet. She works at Starbucks, and I'm getting free coffee.

We make each other laugh.

It’s cheaper than therapy, and the punishment is not as extreme as that for murder.

Wow, you get at it! I’m sure the suite has a sofa-bed for the “help.” ;-)

Actually if I were going to LV, OldTax-lady would go, too, and I could bunk with her. Last time I was there was the early 1970s.

Laughter is the best of all things to bring into a companionship. It IS therapy, in more ways than one. NnSue has my vote for Woman Of The Year!

(You’ve been married HOW long?)

I think it might have rained because of the return to April thread, April showers.

It kinda odd with the gas supplies. Ca prices are still dropping. I paid 3.55 last tank I have seen prices in the 3.30-3.40 range but not near me.

Prices here are in the 3.90’s, but supply is very tight. If I find an open station early next week, I’ll give Anoreth and handful of cash and stick her in the line to refill the purple car. I don’t have time to spare waiting in lines while the byos are wreaking havoc at home!
