The only ones I’ve seen attach only by hooking to a belt or requiring a belt to loop through it. Kind of a pain if you never wear a belt!

Some have loops thet the belt goes through, some are clipped over the belt. Galco makes their Deep concealment holster that has a J type hook to go under the belt and hook to the bottom.
