My work is done. The cars are gased, possible outdoor flying objects have been secured, Igloo water coolers have been filled (just in case), ice is in the freezer, generator on stand-by, charcoal for the bbq pits. I think I have it all covered so I can rest now. :-)Man is it HOT outside!

I think we're mostly ready, too. even found an a/c window unit today at Lowe's for $138. Our son who just got back from Boy Scout Summer Camp at Possum Kingdom Lake in North Texas (where it was 106 degrees nearly every day) called me and his dad "wimps" for needing a/c. Looks like the Boy Scouts are doing just what I wanted them to do. :)

My one concern is what happens if/when the power goes out and my stepson and his family--including 3 little indians--need to come over! It will be pandemonium! lol!
