Hubby is leaving from in Houston at noon, his company has let anyone on the coastal areas leave to secure homes etc.
Galveston County is on TV right now with news and all they are asking so far is that those on the West End watch tides and be ready by midnight to move out if it is needed. They are not calling for visitors to leave yet just to alert people to the storm. The mayor is actually saying that people have to be “responsible for their own safety”. WOW, what a concept.
Just watch and wait and if it gets worse, leave.
