WayzataJOHNN to Soaring Feather
Old Truck Blues
It aint the best looker on the block
looking more like it caught rocks
any yet for years it ran with ease
a faithful friend, sweet as you please
Few the aches and fewer the pains
a staunch shelter in heat or rain
the load box full of important things
and me up front, the roads true king
Its heart broke and stop that morn
and I was afoot, its loss to mourn
Ol Blue had packed it in at last
I fear its time may be in the past
The station medic tending to its care
says for more then I have itll be fair
but I have to wonder if it may be saved
for without a grant it may get waived
It aint the best looker on the block
looking more like it caught rocks
any yet for years it ran with ease
a faithful friend, sweet as you please
