I just checked and the Tiger Balm Gardens were opened to the public in the early 1950s so I guess they were there when you were there. Apparently they are still there and open. OpryLand in Nashville closed but Tiger Balm Gardens is still going strong.

I remember pictures my husband brought back of Tiger Balm Gardens in 1955..He was in the Navy.

Yes I remember the Tiger Balm Gardens and still remember the picture on the can of Tiger Balm. The guy who made that was a multi millionare and it was used all over the Far East. A billion chinese can´t be wrong, it cured what ailed you.
