Times have changed. :)
Well, not a whole lot. It’s too hot to do much out in the yard so I just been cooking today. I went to the farmers market across the river and got some fresh peas and squash, both yellow and zucchini, and I cooked the peas and yellow squash along with some corn and Brussels sprouts and a pot of chicken dumplings.
I need to be doing some cleaning but I’d rather cook than clean. The temperature is supposed to get down to normal in a couple of days so I’ll be able to do some work in the yard then. And I hope to be putting in a new kitchen floor next week but it may be week after next.
