The one thing about the "cool whip" banana pudding that my aunt did differently, and of course I do since I use her recipe, is that she used only milk as called for in the pudding mix - no sweetened condensed milk. I think that keeps it from being quite so sweet, and also the color is more pale yellow. Anyway, I just wanted to say that the condense milk isn't a necessary ingredient if you don't have it or don't want to use it.

We also never put any extra cool whip on top. :)

I made myself no guilt banana pudding using one small pudding mix recenrly..I don’t put the sweetened condensed milk in when it’s for me..but the kids love the sweetened condensed milk..( So do I..but the calorie content is enormous.)

I like the cute little animation you did ‘way back when’. It hit the nail on the head for sure. He is trying to rehabilitate his image now.
