I thought it was interesting. I had never heard the term “spaghetti bowl” before and wondered what it was when I read your list. Here’s another definition:
“A point where two or more major freeways meet creating a complex maze of overlapping highspeed ramps, reminiscent of a bowl of spaghetti. This area might look useful on a map, but is impossible to hitchhike. Not to be confused with an interchange which is useable for hitchhiking.”
In 1995, it was applied to Vegas:
(Nov. 3)” Re: Dealers in Vegas?: From the strip, take [15] North to the [93/95] North (to Mercury”) through the Spaghetti Bowl (just look for all those annoying Fitzgeralds billboards), stay in the right lane and exit Rancho, turn Right, head up about 1/2 a mile and look for the beams on the right side of the street.”
Spaghetti Bowl was new to me ..... and I’ve lived in California (land of many confusing freeways) all of my life.
I think the Vegas traffic is worse than Los Angeles’ and I hate driving in LA.
