"Wish I had a yard manor a pool boy... LOL"
It's all jaycee's fault. :)
"Ive been known to read Dr. Seuss with my book in the middle of the open childrens book. I can also read Dr. Seuss/others with my eyes shut. Sigh. The kids didnt think much of either."
That doesn't seem surprising - after mentioning all the books you have and how you love to read. :)
I wish you had a ‘pool boy’ and a ‘yardman’ too and I had my money!
Its been a long time since I’ve had to pay someone to do all that.
I do have to pay for a little pool work. I do all the chemicals, etc. I just get Joe for vacuuming the pool. My husband used to do it all and enjoyed every minute but now there’s just so much I can do! I wonder if changes may have to be made sooner or later! Saddens me to think about it.
Billie, did you GET Taylor today??
Jaycee—yeah—it’s all her fault! LOL

I adore reading! As soon as I figured out what letters were, and that letters made words—I was gone. I hated—loathed—Dick and Jane. I used to cry because the librarian would only let me have one of those big paper sacks of books at a time! We lived way out of town and only got in about every two weeks.
Lucky for me, I grew up in a reading family! Anywhere else it would be considered rude, but everyone in my very large extended family is guilty—doesn’t matter what is going on, all of us will pick up something to read. It’s nothing to see eight or ten of us sprawled in various poses with our noses in a book in the midst of total mayhem! Course, the fact that most of us are ADD/serious multitaskers—take your pick!—doesn’t hurt any! All my aunts and uncles shared whatever they were reading, and we were forever passing/trading books.
Bought two new books Sun by a couple of my favorite authors. Finished one, and I’ve been making myself leave the other one alone until I get some cleaning and my Sept article done. I can hear it calling to me. Sigh. I guess I’ll be up late tonight! LOL
The sad thing is—none of my kids read. All that bull about reading to them when they’re little? It’s just that.
