Good morning, Billie.
Thanks for opening the doors for us!
Amy, I know you can't hear me,
but I am hoping you are having
a wonderful vacation.

Hi, jaycee - happy to see you here today (though I know you’re gone now) - missed you this weekend, but see you got to read through the posts, and thank you for your compliment on the graphics.

Be still my Heart.....now I know WHY I love Taylor! Thats the kind of music he does that I adore. I got very sentimental listening to that. That was played or sung,at my oldest sons wedding....trying to think who made it popular back then, cant think of his name (the very popular blind singer) why do I have such a mental block on that? I know it as well as my own name........duh?I hoped you'd click on the link - that was one of my favorites - when he threw in that falsetto, oh my gosh. Beautiful!!
The song was Joe Cocker's I think, though I don't know - was he blind? We know Ray Charles was blind, and that is one of Taylor's idols - he does a lot of Ray Charles.
FYI, Taylor's "Early Works" cd is coming out TOMORROW - a Target exclusive (and only $9.98). I can't wait to get mine and get back in the car and play it. :)

Yes, we got it down and it does look nice. It's an indoor-outdoor carpet, but it looks like Berber. The patio is actually like a room because it is completely enclosed except for one side. This carpet really finishes it off. My mom would have loved it. She spent a lot of time on her patio, sitting on her glider. She could see her roses and the bird bath and the jasmine along the fence. She called her patio her "sanctuary". Sounds so pretty. It's nice she had a place like that. :)
When I want to be with her, I go out on her patio. I feel her out there more than anywhere in the house. :-)
I think I somehow knew that (didn't I) :)

Rus, I often fail to thank you for posting these daily devotionals, but I do appreciate that you take time to do this for us every day without fail - here, and the Finest when it was active, and I know there are other threads, too.
Thank you. You are a blessing.

OESY, these sand sculptures are just breathtaking. I knew you would probably find some beauties to post for our ‘playing in the sand’ day, but oh my gosh! To think, all the hours spent creating these works of art.......and no way except photographs to preserve them for all time.

Good morning, Billie. Thanks for opening the doors for us! My pleasure. Thanks for being here. Somehow I bet that golfer doesn't find playing in the sand that much fun. :)
Amy, I know you can't hear me, but I am hoping you are having a wonderful vacation.
Yes, Amy - I hope so, too!

Awww, that’s sweet. (Is Peter White as good as Taylor Hicks?) :) Sigh! I don’t ‘know’ so many of these artists and their music you bring us!

LOL! I usually post smooth jazz and it’s very romantic at times.
Just click on it...save if you like, just listen if you don’t! LOL!

LOL! I usually post smooth jazz and its very romantic at times. Just click on it...save if you like, just listen if you dont! LOL! I loved the one you posted Saturday. I don't have fast connection, so I can never "just click on it" - too much buffering - so I usually just bypass any music unless I want to download and save it to hear later. YouTubes are the absolute WORST - I have a program that will download them, but there is no other way to watch them, because they NEVER 'download' so that I can 'replay' - they just start at the beginning, buffering again.

Oh, I’m sorry! Well, I hope you get a chance to listen.
If you like smooth jazz, you will like Peter White’s tunes. :D
