We share recipes, graphics, ideas, daily happenings and have fun doing it.
It keeps them from being lonely.<<<
I cannot imagine my life without the Freeper Friends that have kept me going, these past years.
* smile *
I’d better get off-line and watch TV for awhile.
Having fun is a wonderful goal.
The beauty of your graphics is a blessing to see.
Thank you for sharing.
I didn’t have any soft ice cream today, so I celebrated Soft Ice Cream Day with an ice cream bar. :)
That Graphic brings back so many memories.
My Grandmother could make almost anything without a pattern. She sewed and crocheted. She would see a picture of a crocheted item, get out a magnifying glass and proceed to crochet it for herself.
I wanted a special dress when I was in high school. My mother went to the store and examined the dress, then went home and modified an old pattern to make me that special dress. Need I say mine was better made?
Well I guess no matter who the ???? is with Obama, I would still have to vote for McCain/Lieberman. WE really do not have a choice. A vote for a third party candidate would be a vote for Obama.
Good night, Dear Meg.
We like Laughlin but there isn’t much for a child there. I think a couple of Vegas hotels have family type entertainment.
We will have to check it out; it may be too expensive during the time we would be able to go.
Vegas is changing so fast that you need to go about every 5 - 6 years just to see the changes.
Yes, that is the sad truth of the matter. I will vote for McCain, no matter who his running mate is. What choice do we have?
I don’t make my own graphics. I search the internet and may add a border or a frame. Sometimes I add some text; I love graphics. Some day I need to get them organized.
Dolly, you are in my Prayers, and I'll Pray for Tweetie Pie, also.
Thank you Again for my Birthday Party, Dear Amy! I Love the Good people of Amy's Place and the Finest.
I’m going to leave and watch some of the Olympics.
If I’m not too tired, I will be back later, otherwise .... see you tomorrow.
Unless I wake up early again, I may be late with the Welcome Graphic. Need to adjust to the school schedule. :)
Good night, Dear Friend.
Sweet dreams ..... see you tomorrow.
Lol! I believe you, Cardy! To be honest with you though, I like my barbequed meat to be in pieces when it’s cooked. Something about seeing a whole animal (sans head) makes me cringe a little. :P
Very lovely this morning, Cardhu!
Billie, I have been freeping back a few days. I did listen to this the other day, but I don’t think I posted that day. I like it, I like it. Gee, I haven’t gotten the C.D. yet!
I do not boast that God is on my side, wrote Abraham Lincoln. I humbly pray that I am on Gods side.
Lincolns words paraphrase the thoughts Azariah expressed to King Asa of Judah. After the Spirit of God came upon Azariah, he said, The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you (2 Chron. 15:2).
Throughout history, people have done despicable deeds while boldly claiming that God was on their side. But being a Christian doesnt guarantee that God is on our side any more than being an ancient Israelite guaranteed that God was on theirs (Isa. 3:14-15). God is on the side of those who are on His sidewho know His heart and mind and do His willnot those who insist on convincing God and others that their way is right.
Through the prophet Isaiah, the Lord indicated that He sides with the oppressed (Isa. 58:6-7,10). For Christians, that means it is right to be on the side of those who are being wronged.
Instead of jumping into a situation with the presumption that God is on our side, we need to be certain that we are on His.
