I did tell a sales guy in 1994 that I thought the Z-28 dash controls were cheap POS. When asked why, I reached in and flipped up the turn indicator stalk. Made a most disagreeable CRACK like it was breaking off. Told him that was just one of several things about the interior that was unacceptably cheap. May be no big deal to GM drivers, but not me.
