Rapper NAS is calling for bosses at U.S. TV network Fox to end their "pattern of racist attacks against Black Americans" by delivering a 600,000-name petition at the media giants' New York headquarters.
The outspoken hip-hop hero will join ColorOfChange.org and MoveOn.org activists in a protest outside Fox's Manhattan offices on Wednesday (23Jul08).
Nas has been a long-time critic of the channel, and takes aim at conservative news broadcasters in his new song Sly Fox, the CM reported.
Nas is particularly upset at Fox broadcasters' subtle jabs at African-American presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
The rapper says, "Fox poisons the country with racist propaganda and tries to call it news."
LOL. That’s about all you can say.
ZzZzZzZzZzZz
What’s that jerk doing in the picture? Demonstrating how to pee?
bttt
Move along socialist freak.
Boo Hoo.
This crapper...er, rapper must be one of those whiners former senator Phil Gramm was talking about.
Naz=Nas
Dont watch Fox much any more buy....
I was listening to Hannity on the radio tonight and a woman called in. She told Sean he was racist because he referred to Obama supporters as drinking the kool aid. And why didnt he refer to them as champagne drinkers.
I think she was having a black out or something!
Can’t listen or watch Hannity....does he still hawk his books all the time?
...so a gangster rapper is calling for censorship?
Talk about calling the kettle black.
Oh wait, is that racist and out of bounds to say now?
Talk about calling the kettle white.
There fixed it (since whites can’t be prejudiced, it’s okay now...)
Criticism of someone who is trying to be the POTUS does not of it self constitute racism Mr. NAS. Perhaps you should go back to school.
No, I would guess that it's some weird signal to his friends that he really does have a complete set of gentitalia. Well, my guess is as good as any.
NAS is the Racist, and it is *he* who is poisoning Black Americans with his lyrics. And it is *he* who constantly libels and slanders Fox News.
