Oh my, hardly anyone even knows Audrey but I remember it and the deaths,,it was dreadful
We are pretty far gone when we are excited for a hurricane so maybe we can at least watch the weather chanel without seeing the Messiah
or maybe this will take Obama’s trip off the front pages.
Yeah, I think that is all of them. I notice one is headed here to Houston.
I sure won’t forget it and I was in NW Louisiana...
I’m still hopin’ for Wet...(sigh)...
1- LOTS of Freepers live on the Gulf coasts.
2- Hurricanes have a mind of their own.
3- One good storm in the Gulf will send the oil market into a tizzy.
4- Some of us are just interested in weather and other natural phenomenons wherever they occur.
500 dead if I remember, awful awful storm. I remember the stories of the snakes,,that was so hideous.
He makes me want to throw up!!!
I know.
It sure was a mess,,,
They found coffins that Audrey washed out of the ground,,,
After Rita !,,,
20 miles or so from the Gulf,,,
They are now marked with the date and ID...

Boy that’s the truth.
Times like this I long for a Runaway Bride silver pattern chat ;)
Hah! One who doesn’t know our FR Lady Underwear Rules!
I wonder, after Rita did that area around Cameron come back? I haven’t been over there but it sure seemed like the very same area was hit.
My brother in law, back in the day, was a photographer who was first on the scene after Audrey, he did a story for Life and I saw the photos that weren’t published because they were so horrible. It was truly a disaster.
.
Ok...now I'm interested. :)
