There’s a difference in how the latitude/longitude is reported in the advisories versus how it’s reported in the Vortex Data Messages. The advisories use tenths of a degree, while the VDMs use minutes.

Besides laundry, I think spaghetti immunizes you against catastrophe. But that's like...not scientific.

And here I thought it was ice cream :-)

Wallacy county needs to take cover, per TWC. LOL!
Willacy can just keep sleeping.

I’m good. My son took over the tornado watch and I got a nap. My granddaughter and I are just watching it rain and the trees blow. So for it’s not bad.

Dolly is intensifying at landfall. Claudette in 2003 and Katrina (Florida version) both were doing the same, and both hit harder as Cat 1 storms than people expected from their stated intensity. I hope people don’t take Dolly for granted, thinking that it is just a Cat 1.

Major changes in the last 1:10:

- Motion 318 degrees (northwest) at just under 3 mph (this is a bit questionable as the meteorological fix is not nearly as tight this time around).
- Pressure dropped 5 mb to 967 mb.

Could be a significant flooding event. Plus, 95 mph winds over several hours can really do a number on roofs. She ain’t gonna blow through quickly.
