I ended up blue and white later after a crunching. I should have blocked it at my grandparents in '91 when I came out west. Surprisingly, it got close to 30 mpg on the freeway at 65-70 mph. I had a shift kit, set of headers and a bit of cam but the original 2 jet Rochester and stock, it pumped either 245 or 265 HP, probably right around 280-300 afterwards.

My wife was asking if her new SKY had power compared to other cars and I commented "Well, it's got about 30 more horsepower than my old Camaro at stock and 4 less cylinders"!...

Unlike lots of the old muscle car owners doing the fat rear skinny front tire dragging scheme I had the 'Ro set up with a brick like suspension and good Eagles on it. I had it up to a rats ass under 150 mph before (FTR, I'd never take it over 100 if the tires were more than ~30-40% worn and I've always maintained cars with aircraft like service schedules).
