I had a 1972 Chevrolet Vega....clearly one of the worst POS a car driver could ever own. OTOH I took the car places one shouldn’t take a car because I didn’t care what happened to it.

I had a ‘74 Vega - the GT model with the 2-bbl carb instead of the 1-bbl. The thing smoked like a brushfire, but somehow always managed to pass the smog check. What a POS that thing was.

An aluminum block engine. If you overheated it, seized up, unrepairable.
