The artist Mort Kunstler?? What a fortunate name for an artist to have, Mort Artist (in German).

Speaking of artist during the Civil War. I remember it being said that many of the glass negatives of photographs taken by Matthew Brady and other photographers were used as panels for glasshouses in years following the war.
What a horrible loss.
