Johnson family of North central Kansas. Young boy & dog snowball arrived home late & went out to feed his prize sheep. He heard a sound like an out of balance old washing machine.
30-40 feet from him, a 10 foot diameter craft was hovering 5 feet off the ground. A luminous auquious something was coming out fo the center toward the ground but stopping 1 foot from the ground—NOT TOUCHING THE GROUND.
He wanted to run but couldn’t move & dog couldn’t move. All 100% silent . . . as it passed over hog shed, he went totally blind. Sound indicated it was receding into distance & his vision ?slowly? returns.
There was an 8foot diameter ring on the ground surface that was GLOWING BRIGHTLY. [photos taken in the dark with only the light of the ring are plenty bright.]
The soil in the ring was actually cool but with small craters. They noticed that after they touched the ring, their fingers became numb. Nurse wife couldn’t take pulses for 2 weeks.
Could ave read a newspaper from the luminous ring of soil 10 minutes after the craft left.
16 hours later, the sheriff took photo. Ring totally dehydrated down to 14 inches into the soil.
Water would bead up on it. Nov 1972
