If you’re older your ability to hear above 11 KHz is likely diminished, so you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference anyway. Otherwise, the quality of your audio system comes into play, and a lot of car and computer speakers can’t reproduce CD quality, so you’d never notice there either.
Ok, thanks for your input!
In 26 he says no MP3, only CD.
WMP does everything that itunes does except sell you the songs. I know you are anti-everything MS but WMP is not that bad nad is very easy to use.
You can tell that I'm not anti-everything MS if you look at my history here. I tried WMP and didn't like it. BTW, WMP will do DRM too with protected WMA files, but then if you bought anything from MSN Music you're hosed. Microsoft was going to shut down the authorization servers for that service in August, but public outcry kept them open until 2011. So you're hosed after then. Unless you burn your music to a CD you lose your music if you ever need to reinstall your system.
I've started to really like amaroK. It's got a good playlist function, can edit id3 tags, and organizes my music pretty well.
Oops my bad , its even worse than post 26 he says it in his very first post that it doesnt do mp3(which is odd I think for this day and age but I digress), in that case he does need a program like iTunes or WMP. Anyways As far as WMA and DRM that is only with DRM protected files which is why I suggest Amazon, no DRM, ever. Heck he could use Zune software and not worry about DRM for that matter, however it is pretty clunky.
Weird Al is right; I’ve progressed to selling crack and stealing cars....
