Thanks for the advice. I have an old feeder sprayer that I’ll use on the trees tomorrow. Last week, I actually end up on my 2nd story roof spraying the pesticide which gives me the ability to spray down onto the tops of the trees. I’ll tempt fate and climb up there again with the soapy mixture.
I work as an arborist, and normally use 1% Hort oil for a quick kill, or inject Imidicloprid into the soil to control aphids and other insects next year. When using oil or soap it is important to get complete coverage.
