Where is the embossed seal in Obama's BC? I called HI and they said it would be "highly visible" from the front, just like the legit one you see in this thread.

I sent for my Certified Birth Certificate from Idaho in 1991. It is printed on the same type of green basket weave stock as Obama's. But what is copied on that green basket weave stock appears to be the orginal of what was filled out shortly after birth. I was born at home.

I can tell that the name of my father, his place of birth, age at my birth, occupation and also all this same information about my mother was ALL IN MY MOTHERS HANDWRITING, except for my mothers occupation as Housewife was filled in by the Registrar. Also my name was TYPED IN (I guess my parents didn't know what to name me at the time.

It asked color or race and the initial W. was put there.

It also asked What prophylactic was used to prevent Ophthalmia Neonatorum, It stated 2% mercurochrome.

At the bottom of this certificate that was printed onto this green basket weave stock is the typed statement:

THIS IS TO CERTIFY That this is a certified copy of a certificate filed with the Bureau of Vital Statistics
under Title 39, Idaho Code. State of Idaho...........) ____Signature___________________ County of ADa............) State Registrar of Vital
Statistics
EMBOSSED SEAL OCT 04 1991
Date issued

P.S. Have you seen the copy of the Hawaiian Birth
Certificate that has the embossed seal on it? (Can't
remember her name) It is a genuine Certified Copie as it
has the embossed seal but it wasn't an orginal one
like mine as it shows her born in 1930 and Hawaii
didn't become a state until 1959.

You got a Certified Birth Certificate. That is a totally different document than the supposed “Certification of Live Birth” that Obama provided. His document can’t be used to get a passport, for instance.

The problem with Obama's is the fact that it does not have the embossed seal and is not signed.

I was trying to point out that mine was of the same green basket weave stock that Obama's and Patricia DeCosta's is. Only mine had the VERY ORGINAL copied onto that same green basket weave stock. It appears like my orginal was some kind of ledger (card stock) with all my information laid on the copier. No fancy borders.

What I find interesting is when Patricia DeCosta was born in 1930 Hawaii was a U.S. TERRITORY as she was born in 1930. So they would not have used her orginal certificate and copied it onto that stock, because it would have said U.S. Territory instead of State of Hawaii. So they obviously orginated a new one to signify STATE OF HAWAII.

I don’t know why you would question Obama’s mother’s citizenship. There is no doubt that she was born in the United States.

Precisely. That’s what would make BHO a “natural born” citizen even if he weren’t born in the U.S., as long as he entered the country by the age of 16 or 18 (don’t recall exactly).

If by chance Obama was born in Kenja by his natural born U.S. Citizen mother it does not make Obama a "Natural Born Citizen" It only means he is a citizen of the U.S.

It appears that there is so much controversy over the Constitutions meaning of "Natural Born Citizen" to be President of the United States that in 2004 Senator Don Nickles (R) was trying to get congress to pass some legislature to spell it out once and for all. I don't think anything came of it.

The only way this will ever be settled is if Obama's citizenship is challenged in court and even then I am sure the court as left slanting as they are will say he qualifies.

Exactly so. How many times, on a talking heads show, have you seen a liberal run out the clock by either babbling or switching the topic to something irrelevant? And the producer knows this. Liberal talking, tight head shot. Conservative rebuttal, zoom out to see both liberal and conservative, and the sound crew keeps the lib microphone open, for the inevitable interruption. If I have the floor you don't, and there's only so much time available to you.

This is one reason why the liberals put up so many primary candidates- giving them all fair coverage gobbles up the very limited amount of communications bandwidth. It was only recently that the republicans matched this tactic.

This is why Bill Clinton loves to be bothered by “the Monica Issue”, it's irresistible to the press and they don't ask why China got a Cray supercomputer with nuclear simulation codes, followed by the mysterious theft of the legacy comparison data from Los Alamos. “Ah saved the Constitution from a hijacking by the rabid Conservatives that ah deestroyin the nation”.

If the revision number on the forms are the same and there is 31 years difference between the two documents issuance, why does one have “date filed” and the other have “Date accepted”. Any change to the form would have mandated a new revision number or date.

According to Dr. Alvin Onaka, the Registrar of the OHSM, after 9/11, Hawaii made some important changes to process and not just the form. In November 2001, the COLB permanently replaced the previous Hawaiian birth certificate form -- which I have yet to see. Dr. Onaka did not elaborate on the reasons for these changes of if they were in any way related to terrorism prevention. So, when you see Rev 11/01 on the COLB, it's a major revision, and not minor at all. If you were born in Hawaii, at any time, and you lost (or refuse to show) the birth certificate produced at the time of your birth, it's this COLB, or nothing. Please let others know about this change so that they stop harping on silly assumptions like there were no laser printers in use in 1961, or why doesn't this look like a real birth certificate? Even the "African" should be "Negro" or "Black" argument is probably moot because, before the PC days of yore, Hawaii listed a parent's nationality under RACE. If OBama's father was Japanese, his "race" would be JAPANESE, not ASIAN. If OBama's father was a native of Tahiti, his "race" would be TAHITIAN, not PACIFIC ISLANDER. If Obama's black father and white mother were both native to South Africa, guess what would be their "race?" Yup. SOUTH AFRICAN.
