I guess the biggest and most important part I left out of my report is that Juan Mc Cain said

That’s where they went wrong. The GOP NEVER needed to pander to Hispanics. Reagan won 41% of the Hispanic vote, better than W twenty years later despite all W’s pandering. The GOP simply needed to continue appealing to Hispanics as they appealed to all other groups: with basic conservative principles best put forth by Reagan.

When the GOP started pandering, it backfired and we have lost Hispanics, NOT because many opposed amnesty, but because W’s and McCain’s amnesty push stirred up an internal fight that should never have taken place, and gave the pro-amnesty types ammunition to demonize conservatives and Republicans in general.

Pandering to groups based on race and ethnicity is Dem. tactic, and the second Republicans started down that road it cost far more than it gained.

Actually, its been proven here and elsewhere that most hispanics (read: Mexicans) want socalism, government entitlements and are "Christian" in the same way that Obamamessiah is "Christian", ie, not at all. Actually, I'll go a step further and say that hispanic countries wouldn't be so messed up if they were authentically Christian, as our nation was for the first 150 years of our history.

6. Republicans need to court Hispanics; ensure they are inculcated with capitalistic ideals and are repulsed by Democratic appeals for endless cradle-to-grave welfare and entitlements.

No, we need to kick out the hispanics because thats exactly what they want.

7. The problem causing illegal immigration is demand for cheap labor by employers...most of them by the food-service, motel, and agricultural industry.

No, the problem causing illegal immigration is effete pretty-boy politicians who refuse to defend American culture, language and values.

8. All of these industries have powerful lobbyists in Congress, pressuring for guest workers.

They wouldn't be so powerful if we simply refused to play ball with them.

9. If you REALLY want to see an end to illegals coming across the border, organize and personally boycott chains such as Ramada Inns, Holiday Inns, all food chains and begin Minuteman raiding agri-business concerns such as Green Giant, Swift, Tyson, Kraft, as well as Walmart and K-Mart stores (but--hint, hint--remember, most are GOP-friendly)

Who cares? Law breakers are lawbreakers. If Walmart is breaking the law, they need to be punished. This kind of flagrant winking at crime ("Well, the criminals do occasionally support the GOP! Maybe we should lay off!") will only turn normal Americans against us.
