Daily Prayer

A new day has come and in the early hours
I sit in silence to say my morning's prayer
I thank my Father for life this day
for health, happiness, all that comes my way
I ask for strength to carry through
to do HIS will in all that I do
When at night I lay to rest,
I pray the LORD I did my best
And for all that I did not do
I pray that HE will forgive me too.
