I have always had, and still do, a tremendous affintity for creatures, wild or tame. it is a hard thing to ignore them.
Huby was watching a show the other night—some guy in the North Pole or somewhere filming grizzlies, I think. He was within a few feet of them and they paid him no mind. I can see myself doing that in my younger years. He had respect but no fear for them and they knew it. They could also have eaten him in one bite, should they choose to turn. Guess that’s my age talking! LOL
Attacks have happened with those who had great experience with grizzlies..I am a critter lover but don’t picture myself with grizzlies or mountain lions.
I enjoy watching others who interact with wild animals on TV..My grandsons watched me go out to feed the raccoons and got a kick out of it..I swear the raccoons were”on” as though they knew this was performance time.Of course i got a rabies lecture from my son after he watched me with them..
I had lingered with them much longer than usual.
