LOL

Hi Dita.

Was exhausted when I got home. Grampa watched cartoons with Marissa and I took a nap. That is a huge hospital. The kids learned something and they had fun. We ate lunch at the Jelly Fish Cafe. We had pizza.

Six noisy little girls rode with me in my mini van.

When I woke from my nap, Marissa wanted a homemade milkshake. We had a milkshake then it was time for the last PTA meeting of the year.

When we got home it was time for dinner, a quick bath and now it is bedtime. Whewwww.

I will probably go to the roost early tonight.

I need to answer some pings ... :(

What a fun day, Amy!

One of the last field trips I volunteered for, was to a pumpkin patch with 28 first graders.

We all boarded an old yellow school bus - in the heat of one of the last summer days.

The windows were sealed shut in that old bus, but we didn’t find out into well into our trip.

The heat was stiffling. We could hardly wait to get there!

One of the children in the back of the bus became ill and lost his breakfast all over the seats in front of him.

With the excessive heat, excitement (and wafting odor), other children began to lose their breakfast, too.

Before we got to the pumpkin patch, over half of the children had lost their breakfast in that old bus.

It was a field trip from you-know-where, and I was never so glad to be home in my life, that evening.

Glad you had a great time! ;-)
