Thank you for the warm wishes. Frustrated because I’m on the mend and still sore and worn out. Mine are caused by a genetic anomally, makes me have stones. Medicine cuts down on them and this was the first one in two years. They all rot.
I didn’t know about tea. Is that true? Coffee is okay, especially without milk.
**Frustrated because Im on the mend /I didnt know about tea.**
Glad you’re getting better! Don’t know for sure about tea, but that’s what we’ve been told. Like I said—could be our hard water.
I’ve been battling “UTI’s” for 20+ years now. At least that’s what the docs think it is. No sign of infection, just back pain, feel like I have the flu, and feel like I have to go all the time. Cipro usually clears it up, so go figure. I may not be a PHD but even I can figure out that if an antibiotic makes you feel better—sometimes within 2 hours—then there is infection somewhere.
I’m getting one again, whatever it is, and I’ve used all my Cipro. Last time, they didn’t want to give me anymore antibiotics without a reason. 6 months of constant pain, not being able to sleep/eat, 3 different drs, x-rays, cat scans with and without dye, mri’s—nothing. No infection, no kidney stones, no reason for the symptoms, finally one of the docs took pity on me and gave me Cipro. Within 2 hours, literally, I was on top of the world. Boom! That was about 2 years ago.
I don’t drink anything but water and juice, usually cranberry, maybe 6 sodas a year, I don’t wear tight jeans, bubble baths—BWAHAHA—who has time for those?, and I don’t sleep around. That was the best they could come up with, and to top it off BCBS refused to pay for most of it—deemed it unnecessary.
Not whining or airing my dirty laundry, but if anyone has any ideas, I’d sure love to hear them! Thanks!
