I would prefer them to start the Bible School earlier in the day.
It lasts until 8:40 and it is almost 9:30 by the time Marissa gets home.
Than it is at least an hour before I can get her to bed. I'm really not complaining .... I should make it .... it only lasts one week. ; )

Wow Amy! That is late. Kobe starts " DVBS" next week. We do pay a fee of $50 to cover it but it is more like a day " camp"...They do Scripture memory, music, water slides, etc, etc...They also provide two snacks, one morning and one afternoon.We send lunches.It starts at 8:30am and goes until 5:00PM!!! OH I Love it!! LOL

It costs us nothing except the offering.

I’m not sure what they do other than memory verses. They do have crafts and I think some competition (to see if the boys or the girls get to throw water balloons at their teachers.) On Saturday night, they are going to have carnival night. Of course she wants to go but it will interfer with our Family Night. I’m not making a decision just yet.

They do get a snack. The first night was an icee and a pudding cup.

I know it was a hundred years ago, but when we went to VBS it was for an hour or two during the day.
