Thank you for the Birthday Greeting, very cute. Yes, my toddler is running mama ragged when taking her medicine: I say medicine and she says: No Mommy and then I have to run after her, hold her and feed it to her by medicine injector, very stressful. The pharmaceutical industry has to invent antibiotics that can be mixed into the juices, that leave no aftertaste./Just Asking - seoul62......

Wow, Jaycee, that weather is spread out over a wide area up there. The latest I saw was flooding in Iowa.

What did you do while power was out for nearly 8 hours? Do you have candles for light?

They have a way to go on beauty..They go through very awkward plumage color while they mature...but I love having them.

I have to ask my friend up in Washington state to keep an eye out for cedar waxwings, too. She sent me awesome pics a few years ago and I lost them.

Dita, I had three flashlights and I have a bunch of candles. I had 4 candles lit and it helped me get around. Every time I went into the bathroom, I flipped the light switch on! Isn’t it funny about habits?

I am so thankful when I see what some folks are going through! When I saw that house break into and fall into the river in Wisconsin, I was just in awe! Of course, it makes such messes in the yard and on the patio and carport. (And that pool). I had to go up there early this morning and let out some water, empty the skimmer baskets, put in chlorine, thinking all the while....when we built that pool in 1980, I didn’t realize we would get much older and that my husband would leave me all alone with it! Its almost too much for me anymore!

You know we don’t appreciate the electricity until it goes out for almost six hours! I lit a bunch of candles and had my flashlights by my side. No computer, no t.v., no lamps to read by........had a very toss and turn night, however, it could always be worse. I give thanks for the good things.

Gotta kick the caffeine habit before I can quit the soda. I have replaced some of it with water. Good ole Crystal Geyser.

Cheese and coffee go together very well.

Cheese, grapes, assorted crackers and a glass of wine is nice!

Or a small baguette in place of crackers and Brie.

We should have had people there in uniforms, it might have helped. We’ve had pregnant nuns, though.
