> But if sources are correct and unless theres some arcane military history in his favor, Obama still has a problem...
(grin!) He’s got a huge problem, mate. Some of us remember and revere The Greatest Generation, and their memory matters to us. We are a HUGE problem to Obama.
Obama’s uncle/cousin/great-uncle/whatever? probably Served his country, and probably served honorably and well. So we are grateful for his Service, insofar as it was done. But that is a separate issue surely.
To consolidate his reckless ambition to become POTUS Obama is telling lies and fooling around with History, invoking Stolen Valor to further his ends. This is wrong. And we are not fools.
What better tribute for Memorial Day, than to out this lying, Valor-stealing grifter? Aren’t we tired of liars in high public office? Doesn’t the Greatest Generation deserve at least this much from us?
Obama is a liar, and his lying scalp would make a fitting Memorial to the Greatest Generation from those of us who have pledged that “From the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will Remember Them.”
I’m a foreigner, with no direct “skin in the game” with the US elections, and probably (by extrapolation) not much business having an opinion in this matter. Yet it *does* matter to me, that the man with his hand on the red button be a man who is not an arrant liar and a willfully perjured individual. If things go wobbly in the US, our cost of living skyrockets in NZ and my mortgage rates go up: so OF COURSE it matters to me!
Obama is a thoroughly-dodgy fellow, and there is more than enough shonky-ness about him to make me feel really uneasy about his candidacy for the most powerful job on this planet.
God Bless America.

Very well said! I agree 2000%!
