You and me both, prairie. Unfortunately the party I'm referring to is nothing more than the party of my dreams.

The era of the 2-party system without a 3rd viable alternative has outlived its usefulness when one of those 2 parties has gone over to socialism if not Marxism, and the other party is absolutely clueless without leadership, backbone, or direction.

Hey, Two-thirds, I am voting based on First Ladies and self-defense.

I will be voting for McCain because I think he won’t get us killed and Cindy McCain will know how to act in the White House.

There you go. All of my knowledge of history, political platforms, government workings, foreign policy are boiled down to “won’t get us killed and his wife won’t embarass us.”

Time to take the grandkids to the pool. I am going to read garden magazines and plan things for my garden. No politics all afternoon!
