Hehehe. I thought the article about talking to Iran was fascinating because of the thesis: when a nation-state becomes a cause (Islamism, Nasism, etc.), it no longer responds to ‘talk’. Made me think...and it HURTS! ;-))

What is with Scott McClellan?

One of the sad things about W’s admin. has been that they choose people based on loyalty or out of a sense of ‘fairness’ rather than choosing the best people for the job (e.g. Stormin’ Norman Mineta). McClellan was and always will be a back-bencher. I think he was the Pres Secretary equiv. of Tom Brokaw — none of the requisite skills on evidence yet he gets the job...I think this just shows how shallow people in D.C. truly are...;-))

Obama and followers a cause? Well, no. Obama is a simple power seeker who is riding the wave of racial guilt in America circa 2008. Most politicians base their campains on some base of local or regional achievment (even Slick Willie was a Gov). But what does Nobama base his claim to fame on? ‘Audacity of Hope?’ He is not a cause, he is a projection...;-))
I just saw a picture of Sharon Stone. She’s aged and has had a lot of work done on her face.
Scott McClellan always made me wince as press secretary. He didn’t have the smoothness and knowledge of Ari Fleischer. Tony Snow blew McClellan away in competency. Sour grapes on McClellan’s part I am afraid. One theory is that his mother ran for governor of Texas as an independent because the GOP wouldn’t support her (they supported Rick Perry.)
