Good morning, bev. When you figure out a way to get over this feeling, please send me the antidote. Most people I dare to bring up politics with seem to be pretty well fed up with the subject and don't want to talk about it. To them it's politics as usual. They (mostly sheeple) apparently think it doesn't matter who the president is, things will pretty much be the same either way. The conservatives that I talk to that are not politically active don't think BHO can win. Generally, they don't think he will ever carry the south or middle of the country. Let's hope they are right.
Saw your post from last night and totally agree that there are a bunch of young people that want to give us BHO based purely on his speaking ability and nothing else. I have to turn the station with him now like I did uox42 in the 90's. The instant I hear that cursed voice, I either hit another preset button or the 'off' button. I so despise that voice. Occasionally, I don't get to the button in time and I hear the rabid, frantic screaming of the idiot crowd and it makes me even more sick.
I too have friends that think BHO can't be elected because of the Midwest and South but I remain wary. He has the same mesmerizing cadence in his voice that Hitler had on his masses of mind numbed people. We have, in this country, a huge number of mind numbed folks - they are called DIMocrats and there are some Republicans and Independents in that same category - enough to elect BHO unless people get their eyes open.
