Presumably HS grads have at least basic proficiency in simple arithmetic and geography. I mean, what math and geographic proficiency does it take to grasp that this nation has 50 states, and that if you've visited all but 1 of the 48 contiguous states and haven't visited Hawaii or Alaska, then you've visited 47 states?
