Hell, when I was 10 years old, I could name all 50 states, PLUS the capital of each of the 50 states.  Truly, the ability to handle rote memorization is critical to good leadership.

In my case, it wasn’t memorization by rote; I actually wrote the Chamber of Commerce in each of the fifty state capitals and asked for brochures and other information so I could learn about each state. The Vermont Chamber of Commerce in Montpelier even sent me a small slab of marble!
