Ernie used to race here at Redwood Acres in Eureka on occasion. I became his fan when he went to the NASCAR circuit and drove the 36 and when he got hurt I joined up with Kenny Shrader. JJ is a good kid. I live just outside of El Cajon in a little community called Lakeside, my next door neighbor went to highschool with JJ.

I remember Ernie he was fast and wild just like Lil Busch, it wasn’t until all the graybeards ( Petty, Gant, Earnhardt and some other ) swent and had a “talkin too” with Ernie that he got the message. Maybe it’s time for Mark , Jeff, Burton and some of the elder drivers go and talk to him about his driving style. I’d hate to see him hurt someone.
