I’ve always been intrigued about those cigarette machines. Sounds like you have good success with yours? Man... with the price of smokes lately it’s getting more interesting all the time. And our “governor” Christine slapped another buck a pack on...
She’s risking her re-election...oh wait, they’ll just “find” votes like last time.
Afternoon Ramius, guess you can’t take your sword with you for the ‘downtime’ would be a good time to practice riposte, lunge and parry.
There are several machines out there. The Premier Supermatic made in Canada (Complete with English and French on the labels) is the one LSA uses. We buy in bulk on the internet. It’s about a buck fifty a pack since we buy the good tobacco (no burning agents and no chemical additives) LSA has had the machine three years and a few spare parts now and again and it’s running like a top. It’s worth the initial investment. Remember there is no safe cigarette. YMMV.
It’s a bit like reloading, set up is the bulk of the cost and then it’s only time and components. Think of it as the entry level single stage press.
BTW - just finished up another box of .38s. I like the 158gr semi-wadcutter on top of 4.8 grains of Unique.
