Morning Win-mag. That is the downside of the 60 hour work week. The money is good but the time factor not so good. Very interesting product.

That is the downside of the 60 hour work week. The money is good but the time factor not so good. Very interesting product.

Everybody's working 12-hour shifts, so the people I see when going in to work are the same ones I see when I leave.

Vey heavy rain here, with some counties getting almost 2 inches an hour. When I went home this morning, the local creek, which runs in a steep V-shaped embankment about 12 feet deep, was within three feet of the road surface. Going to work tonight, it's only about one foot lower than the road. I hope it's passable by morning.

I'm getting more and more sold on that NanoLube, even if I'm not sure how it works. On my S&W 629, I could feel the extractor rod "seize up" in a tiny side-to-side movement, even when I used moly lube. Stainless-on-stainless tends to gall.

Two drops, and now it's as slick as snot on a doorknob. I didn't have time to remove the sideplate to get to the rest of the action, but a little bit on the crane worked wonders, too.

The diamonds seem to polish the area where dimensions are tightest, leaving them brighter than the rest of the stainless. It leaves a moving surface looking almost jeweled, since the rest is untouched, and therefore less shiny. Not as pretty as a pristine finish, but this revolver feels like it's a lot happier now.
