Hopefully! It was a new recipe — really easy one that just involved adding sugar to the berries, mixing up a simple batter, and layering them in the pan.
And I happen to have some vanilla ice cream on hand.
If it’s good, there *might* be enough green berries still on the bushes to do this one more time before the year is out. If it doesn’t freeze first.
Our high temp for the day couldn’t have been more than sixty five or so, and it’s warmer than it has been. I think we’re pretty well done, as summer goes.
And just happened to have vanilla ice cream on hand. Sure. :-)
