I would imagine that you wouldn't want to fire these out of the SASS unless it was absolutely necessary. The SASS will live on a diet of luxury match-grade ammo only. The M1A will be happy with whatever it's fed.
Now the SASS is not set up as a match rifle. It still has standard SAAMI chamber dimensions and freebore. Minimum chamber and zero freebore means you have to think long and carefully about every round you put in it, and can vouch for the round's dimensional pedigree.

I figured! I've also got a very accurate and NICE rifle that I'm careful about what I feed it!
I'm curious about the SASS.... is it possible to seat out bullets for accuracy ("almost" engaging lands) and STILL have them fit into the magazine of the SASS? Also, what's the twist rate of the barrel? I'm going to "guess" that it's a 1:10". :-)
