Hey guess what! I have a serpiginous lesion in my left inferior colliculus!

Gee, 2J...I'm just now reading this. Will you find out more about what that means today?

I'm thinking lesion at least sounds like something that shouldn't spread much, right? Better than some alternatives....

A lesion is a localised area of diseased or disordered tissue. Could be scar tissue from an infection, or a stroke. It could be a tumor.

Later on in the report the radiologist states my lesion “may be a small focus of hemorrhage” so I think stroke is the direction they’ll probably go and supports what I’ve thought all along. The neurologist will make the final pronouncment. I’ll keep you posted.
