Nana used to pray in the “King James.” It was the language she learned in church. It’s beautifully written and great for reading. I just prefer some of the other translations for clarity.

And, just as a side topic, we watched “The Other Boleyn Girl” last week. It’s amazing what impact two British Kings had on the face of the church and on history in general.

Agreed on the beauty of the language. Also, since it's a bit archaic now, when I read it I have to think more about the meaning of the words, to understand it better. That causes me to think more deeply about the meaning behind the words, too.
