Well, I got her transferred to the crate. Was not too hard, except for waiting for her to actually come out of the trap. I blocked off the spaces around the opening, opened the door of the cage into the doorway of the crate and ~waited~.

Now she's glowering in the litterbox, but she's safe. And she hopefully can see that I didn't eat her kittens. Time will tell if she pays them any attention now or would want them in there with her, but they now have run of the bedroom and she's going to stay in the crate till I'm pretty sure she's healed.

She probably smells like the vet’s office...they probably aren’t quite sure *what* to think. But it’s not like they’re afraid of strange cats, either...

Aw, poor kitten. Here’s hoping she feels better in the morning and starts to perk up when she see her young ‘uns. Good for you, catching her and having her fixed. Very glad to hear the Animal Care folks could help out with the money side.
