Yep...doesn't take much more than just touching it to the page, and too much pressure can hurt the nib. The trickiest part (or it was trickiest for me) is figuring out the right angle to hold the pen. Generally it's not straight up and down. For me, with most nibs, I hold it so the nib is facing slightly to the left. But every pen is a little different.
I have my banged-up Parker 51 with me today. With Waterman South Seas Blue. I love that ink...beautiful shading. If it was a little more permanent, I'd use it even more than I do.
