OK, my contribution, though I don’t think it’s as bad as your days.
First off, I have to work late. But I’m going in a bit late, so I guess it evens out.
Second: I was late out the door yesterday, so I didn’t get gas before work although I was low. Figured I’d get some after work. But when I left work, I realized I still had enough to get home, and I decided to get gas at the store when I got here, ‘cause there aren’t any stations near work that aren’t a pain to get in and out of.
When I got home, I discovered that I’d left my purse at work. With my cards, my checkbook, and what little cash I have. And the gas light came on as I pulled onto our road.
I do have a gas can I just filled to use for the lawnmower, and if I can get that into the tank instead of dumping it down the side of the car, it should be plenty enough to get me to work and a gas station afterwards. But I’m kicking myself for doing something so stupid. If one of my siblings had done something like this back home, I sooo would have lectured them.
I deserve to be grounded for the weekend. Or something. I dunno.
