Do you have a Windows XP CD?
"I was just getting ready to suggest that when I read you'd already done it," he said nonchalantly...
LOL - that was great. Somehow, we don’t think Annie fits in that mind-set. Greycat was back today, off and on. We think it just likes hanging out around people, for a bit and then takes off for parts unknown. He hung around for quite a while this morning when we were plant, playing ‘ambush’. He come racing out of the daylilies and then scamper back and wait for the next person to come by. OB & LSA
yes, and yes.
Papa's flag is flying from the front of the house. It's a beautiful clear day and supposed to get into the 80s. A little yard work, and then thepool.
Quietly remembering our veterans today. Papa was in the Pacific during WWII. My dad was in Germany after the war, then later in Korea. My grandfather was exposed to nerve gas in France during WWI (and his diary now resides in the Library of Congress). Heroes all.
And there are so many more to whom we owe our undying gratitude for defending our freedom. Some on these very threads.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
I’m not usually one to jump on the boycott wagon (and I can’t on this one for odd reasons), but I wanted to make sure that the homeschoolers had caught on to Subway restaurant excluding homeschoolers from their contest. It’s not an urban legend it’s right on the contest form “no home schools will be accepted.”
Michelle Malkin has been covering this.
Indeed Corin, we all thank them all for their service.
LSA’s dad was Army Air Corps, not Air Force, he only needed to correct me one time on that. England, France & Germany. My dad worked at Douglas in Chicago throughout the WWII, they made the C-54s.
Sweet job on the SOCOM16... MI and SOG make good stuff... don’t even get me started on Brownell’s
I need to get one of those for a SIG 556... I’ll get it on order next week... that and ERT sling...
And you're right, Corin, there are many men and women here at FR who have served, or are serving now, protecting our freedoms. I thank God for them all!
Oh, yeah, our State Yahoo group is talking about this. They’re surmising that since the Grand Prize is Athletic Eqpt. for a school, that if a homeschooler were to win it, it wouldn’t be appropriate. That’s understandable, but it seems the lesser prizes are perfectly suitable, and there’s no reason that homeschoolers shouldn’t participate and compete for those. The company could simply award the Grand Prize to the school whose student ends up highest in the competition, if a homeschooler actually placed first.
Morning G’nad - saw the radar, looks like you’ll get a break till afternoon; starting up here again.
Sig 556 you say?!?!? Inquiring minds would like know more.
Do your guys have the original Star Warses yet? I know I offered my extra copies a while back...before I moved and got married and stuff.
I just found them in a box in the shed. DVDs.
pick it up tomorrow... if'n I can function at the end of the day... it'll be day three of the fourth round of chemo, and I have a full day of werk before that...
still overcast, but pleasant... crappy weather most of the week ahead...
Functioning is in the eye of the beholder. You’ll do fine. Betteryet-take a half day off, get the Sig and then do the chemo. We’re all on your side, hope it goes well.

Well then, good luck on the coordinatin’ and communicatin’. You’re good at that.
You’ll be in my prayers this week, hon!
